Charged 5K Challenge

On Sunday, April 27th, first-year Honors students and their mentor hosted the Charged 5k Challenge—a walk/run to raise awareness about energy usage. Over 40 people registered for the event beforehand. All proceeds went to installing green energy bikes in the Cordova Recreation Center. Energy produced from riding the bikes will be turned into usable energy and put back into the power grid.
